Manager of the Geriatric Hospital Heather Payne-Drakes says the current plant does not adequately factor in the needs of staff, and this has an impact on morale.
She says the proposed new plant at Waterford, St. Michael will see a major upgrade in this regard.
Ms. Payne-Drakes made the comments during the Barbados Tourism Investment Incorporated (BTI) Virtual Public Consultation on the proposed construction of the new Geriatric Hospital at Waterford.
