Woman remanded after gun, drug charges

A 38-year-old woman was charged and remanded for a range of gun, ammunition and drug charges.

She is Sabrina Le Keisha Atherley, of Apartment #4, Vauxhall Gardens, Christ Church.

Personnel from the Anti-Gun and Gangs Unit of the Barbados Police Service arrested and formally charged her for the following offences, which were committed at her residence on Friday, October 6, 2023. 

• Possession of Firearm                                           
• Possession of Ammunition                                   
• Possession of Cannabis                                         
• Trafficking Cannabis                                           
• Intent to Supply Cannabis                                   
• Possession of Cocaine                                            
• Trafficking Cocaine                                              
• Intent to Supply Cocaine                                     

Atherley appeared before Magistrate McKenna of the Oistins Magistrate’s Court yesterday, Thursday, October 12 2023. She was remanded to Dodds Prison and is scheduled to reappear on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
