Given the region’s vulnerability, Secretary General of CARICOM, Dr. Carla Barnett has stressed the importance of the Caribbean producing more food and making nutritious products available to everyone.
She highlighted the strides made thus far, including efforts to achieve food security led by Guyana, at an opening press conference ahead of this evening’s official opening of the 44th CARICOM Heads of Government meeting.
