SYDNEY, Australia, CMC – Hosts and world champions Australia beat West Indies by 83 runs in the second One-day International on Sunday at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Scores:

AUSTRALIA 258 for nine off 50 overs (Sean Abbott 69, Matthew Short 41, Cameron Green 33, Marnus Labuschagne 26, Aaron Hardie 26; Gudakesh Motie 3-28, Romario Shepherd 2-50, Alzarri Joseph 2-74).

WEST INDIES 175 all out off 43.3 overs (Keacy Carty 40, Shai Hope 29, Roston Chase 25; Sean Abbott 3-40, Josh Hazlewood 3-43, Will Sutherland 2-28).
