Speaking at this morning’s launch at Harrison College, new Chairman of the BSSAC Committee and Principal of Coleridge and Parry School, Sonja Goodridge said the packed schedule will see four schools having their sports days on February 9, seven on the 16th and four on the 21st.
This year’s BSSAC competition will again begin with the field events at Harrison College on March 5-7 and will also see the return of the two-zone format.
Two private schools in young explorers and Lockerbie College will be fielding teams, while ongoing talks are in progress to see if there can be participation from the Derrick Smith School.
The assurance has also been given that the Ryan Brathwaite track will be ready for the staging of the finals following the ongoing remedial work.
