Weymouth Wales are title contenders after producing a gritty performance on Sunday night to beat Ellerton FC for the second time in the 2023 BFA Premier League season.
Playing in the feature match of a triple header, at the BFA headquarters, Wales scored two second-half goals to collect three points.
Meantime, Brittons Hill FC were also two-nil winners when they took down UWI Blackbirds and a late goal gave Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme a one-nil win over St. Andrew Lions in the day’s first match.
