Barbados will host the 41st Caribbean Travel Marketplace trade show from May 9-11, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
Word of this came from the chairman of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA), Renee Coppin.
She said the trade show is an opportunity for the region to market itself to the world.
The BHTA official said it is an all-encompassing show and will bring much spin-off business and activity.
