The Barbados Workers Union is signalling its support for a public sector wage increase.
General Secretary Toni Moore, in her May Day message made it clear the BWU is not turning away from the need for adjustment.
While commending Government for its work in navigating the country through these rough waters, she says the BWU understands what’s triggering the rise in the cost of living.
She is however concerned about its impact on how Barbadians meet their food and energy needs.
