Part of St. Joseph road collapses

The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources are on the scene at Horse Hill, St. Joseph.

This is after a section of the road dropped in about four feet this morning, obstructing traffic. The Barbados Police Service noted in a press release, that this is about 150 meters travelling uphill on the left side of the road from the newly built road coming from Joe’s River.

Personnel from the Ministry of Transport and Works have cordoned off the area and the public is asked to proceed with extreme caution.
