The region has been called upon to formulate a CARICOM model to deal with issues of climate change and digital commerce.
Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Business Sandra Husbands made the call as she delivered the feature address at the opening ceremony and network session of the Trinidad and Tobago Trade Show at the Accra Resort and Spa.
In a wide-ranging speech, she told the audience made up of local and visiting businessmen and women that a collective regional response is the way forward.
